Welcome to my web page. My name is Kathy Mosowitz and I am the Speech/Language Pathologists working here at Matthew Thornton School primarily in the PALS program. I am excited about my new role as one of the co-teachers within the program.
I have been working here in Londonderry for 25 years where a majority of my time has been spent at Matthew Thornton School. In the past, I have also worked at South School in the Friends 2 and FLEX programs as well as at Londonderry Middle School in two of the Special Education Programs.
My career as a speech therapist began after graduating with a B.S degree from Trenton State College in 1976 where I worked as a Speech Correctionist in the New Jersey public schools from 1976 -1990.
My family moved to New Hampshire in 1990 and I began working for the Londonderry School District as well as working toward my Master's Degree at UNH. I completed my graduate program and license requirements in 1996. During this time, I moved back to New Jersey for a short time and worked with adults in a rehabilitation facility. In 1997, I was thrilled to move back to New Hampshire and returned to the Londonderry School District.
When I am not here at work, I spend time at home with eight Golden Retrievers and take them to various levels of obedience training throughout the year. Although they keep my husband and I very busy, they have all been a wonderful addition to our lives.
Feel free to contact me at Matthew Thornton School by calling the main phone number 432-6937 and dialing 6004 which is my extension. Please leave a message and I will get back to you. I attempt to check my phone messages at least twice per day. If you want to contact me by e-mail, please use my first initial and last name at londonderry.org.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year with your child!
